History of Francine's Businesses
F. D. Hawkins Painting and Remodeling is a sole proprietor owned home based
business specializing in interior remodeling. It was founded by Francine
Hawkins-Alegeh in the year 2003 with great intentions to help the less fortunate, but the
business has been active remodeling homes of clients with all levels of income.
Francine developed this idea slowly over the years while attending college and working
for industrial plants, construction companies, ship building companies and other
companies related to this business. Francine intends to provide quality services and
sales to homeowners in the Dallas/Fortworth area. Keeping extra money in the
customers' pocket is the goal of this business.
After years of planning, F. D. Hawkins Painting and Remodeling has finally opened for
business and plans to be a powerful presence in the market. If you are interested in
having an honest contractor that will go over every detail with you please call for a one
on one consultation to get you started. The owner will always be on site with an
experienced group of team players to make sure that the work is done correctly.
F. D. Hawkins Painting and Remodeling is currently registered as a HUB business with
the Texas Building and Procurement Commission.
Alegeh Autocad Design was founded in 2007. Alegeh Autocad Design is a
full-service female minority owned homebased business specializing in small to large
sized projects for your event or installation. We offer a complete line of services for event
planners, wedding planners, av companies, hotels, exhibitors, homebuilders and
corporations.
About the owner
Francine Hawkins-Alegeh is an African American woman from Natchez, MS. She has
worked full time while attending Copiah Lincoln Jr. College, University of Southern
Mississippi, Southern University, DeVry University, ATI and DCCCD colleges of Dallas.
She has studied and worked in fields relating to residential electricity, electronics
engineering technology, computer aided design, commercial plumbing, ship building
and project management/construction management. She has spent many weekends
volunteering for the Dallas Habitat for Humanity. She is also a member of NAWIC
(National Association of Women in Construction)CAD Chair 2009-2010 in Dallas,
NAACP, National Council of Negro Women, Inc., and lifetime member of Phi Theta
Kappa. Francine is currently studying to obtain her PMP and CTS certifications as of
January 2010.
